Default Photo help

I took some pictures with my dslr and adjusted the white balance and they look great, but when I upload them to my computer they are really blue. The format is cr2. How can I fix this?

Thanks

I think that's a canon camera raw image. You will want to
Convert it to JPEG or set your camera settings to take raw and JPEG. But here's an article on converting. http://www.imageconverterplus.com/ho...t/cr2_jpg.html

It sounds like your monitor or screen is at a diifferent color setting than the led screen on your camera. You can try adjusting the color setting on your monitor or you can rent calibration software from a photography store. The other route would involve using photoshop, lightroom or even basic photo editing software to adjust the color values in the image itself.

Have you tried adjusting white balance on your computer? Possible that after you took the shot, raw file did not save your camera white balance setting. My one doesn't but I shoot Nikon, so could be small differences there.
