Very sorry to hear about your loss. You're taking it a lot better than I would... Goes to show it can happen to even the best... And thanks for sharing your challenges, and any lessons learned.

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.

thanks

its been a hard few weeks , im pro qt but always end up taking the risk in my experience i should have known better but i do end up making the wrong choices sometimes too so ill chalk it up to a lesson learned.it was a violent strain of MI that took the fish out , it acted fast and with in a week it was here and gone and left its path of destruction on my fish.

right now we are going to enjoy the summer and im busy with the new store opening in aug so i have the ability to go fallow untill fall in which case we are deciding what to do with the tank as far as livestock is concerned.

the qt will stay running in case we decide to add any new fish and they will go for the same treatment as my current fish are getting.

3 wks in qt so far and everyone is doing amazing no signs of ich or any parasites but they have a ways to go still.

cheers

denny

ive recently decided to add another copperband and didnt want to put him through the qt process so heres taking another chance lol he looks fine and i did have him on hold at ther shop for a while to make sure he is active all other fish will go into the qt tank as i left it running just in case i need it again soon....i hope not:P

mated trio of cardinals
pair of trojan clownfish
lawnmower blenny

copperband butterfly

so far the copperband is eating mysis after a couple of days of training and hes also eating my squamosa lol
