Worst part of the hobby

Added sand and started running everything (put in some LR too) so that the water gets cleared up within today since I plan for the big day tomorrow

A little trick I use when I add substrate which can result in the picture above is use a HOB filter for a couple days. Around the filter media fold over a paper towel and every 30 min - 1 hr change the paper towel out. Works like a charm and been doing it for years. I'd rather get the small fines out of the tank than just let it settle.

actually no, this would not be the worst part of the hobby :-) Just a minor inconvenience compared to many many other worser events that can occur.

edit: specifically an addiction to the Canreefs. (or is that just me?)
