Dipping is not really a 100% guarantee. Best to inspect visually with a magnifying glass, they're pretty easy to see. I use a microscope on all new frags. That said, red bugs are one of the easiest things to get rid of. AEFW are the nasties to avoid!!

No worries, I'd rather have someone pointing it out then not to... We're all here to learn, share and help each other, right?

Default Mid Nov 2012 update - minor

Not too much to update... Currently struggling with cyano... Trying my best to contain it the best I can. never really had it before and I don't over feed my fish and it could be the result of the following... Bio pellets and me stopped dosing vinegar.

The positive are that the corals are growing and coloring up...
Sharing some top down frag pics...

The blue one is becoming my favorite. Too bad it is not mine ( holding for jaws along with four others). It may as well be mine as it has been in the tank for over four months now. this one came from Snappy!
The one on the bottom left of the blue acro is a Chilliwack SSC ( I say that cause that is where I bought it)

A frag I picked up from Kelly 5 mths ago...

Another favorite... From Snappy... 15 months of patience!

Also from Snappy...

Another favorite but from a local reefer (thanks, Ronnie!)

This is suppose to be a SSC ( the little pink sliver..) from a LFS... Been in the tank for 17 mths doing nothing (was grey and dead looking) and I was about to turf it... Then all of the sudden it started to colour up... ? Go figure...

The top three frags on the left with potential... Also from Snappy... Purple poison SC ( finally starting to colour up), Something blue granulosa and ice cream dream... Been in the tank 5 mths, 8 mths and 8 mths, respectively.

Greg, thanks! there are lots of CM frags in here and are starting to grow! Sure, some are slow growers but definitely worth the wait!
