Have you ever tested this with a par meter . I would be careful who u argue with. I tested the mesh, egg crate and glass lids vs Mike. I was totally surprised that mesh and egg crate blocked half the light as where glass blocked almost nothing. Even dirty glass was a total surprise for me. But it was a cool test with the par meter.
