i found the same thing , i kept mine kind of hidden under a ledge where they were getting the light but it was less intense, flow wasnt to great in my zoa tank anyways so i also believe they wouldnt do well with high flow but cant say for sure as i didnt have them in a high flow tank.they did love my actinics though

The colony is the size of a softball in Corey's tank... Its one of the few things that survived being in the dark for a week (courtesy of his skeezy ex)
