well......V2 is a year old......the tank(or the big tank I should say) seems to be responding well to my renewed interest in maintaining it.....I still have crazy amounts of algae in the small tank that I am trying to prune out.....still getting some diatoms in a few spots....Ive resorted to moving rocks that I can over into the big tank for a week or so to have the tangs and angels and blenny go to work on it.....but that really just a band aid solution......big water change and media swap this evening and I bump up the amount of rowa this time.......we'll see if that makes any kind of difference or not....

few pics

feather duster and tuxedo urchin

stupid urchin is in there to eat the algae, not wear it

have you ever noticed how much more curious your fish are of you when you look through the end of the tank?? .......or is it just me??.... the pics aren't the greatest but they illustrate my point

and lastly, some tunicates.....

....another small update.......got a new fishy from Carmen........a beaut of a leopard wrasse.....gave me a little scare when I first introduced him.......he spent all of about 5 minutes in the tank before he decided to bail and bury himself in the sand.......I didnt see it for a couple days and started to worry......even tho I know that leopards have a tendency to hide when first introduced.....still worrisome when you dont see a new fish for a while.....anyway after a couple days he decided to show himself and Im amazed that he seemed to fit right in and didnt get harassed at all by my crew of "hazers" .....by far one of the smoothest fish intros Ive seen in a while......thanks for the wrasse Carmen.....*I was gonna type something else there, but I thought better of it*

Moar pics.....

I decided to move this one into the big tank to see how it responds to a little more flow.....that, and I needed to make room for a new acquisition in the small tank.......I thought I would name this coral just for Pat......Red Coral's "Walt Smith""Cherry Sundae Chalice"......
