Originally I was using 3 dymax robot led fixtures those things were pure junk besides the white colour they putout they only lasted 5 months or so before they started dimming out considerably. This after claiming 50 000hr life on the box.

I now use a rapid led par 30 bulb, 3 blues 2 whites which I believe is 20k. The bulb fits in a regular fixture. I'm using a 6$ walmart desk lamp.

The photo was taken during the afternoon and the tank gets a lot of sunlight too.

Hi, your Canreef Inbox is full so hope you get this message >:-)

Just found your pico and am very excited about it!!! It's simply amazing!

I'd like to buy the bulbs and hope you can tell me where to find them?

I'm running a couple nano's and the little Fluval edge has been lit by a Walmart reading lamp as well LOL! But for a couple idiot newbie errors, both nano's have been fine for almost fifteen months.

Would love to know more about how you stocked your nano too.... i.e. what order the corals were placed? how often? and how you dealt with possible agression/conflicts between them... that sort of thing....

Yup, your nano is truly wonderful!
