who runs 10,000k 250 or 400W MH?

hey folks,
do you have pics of your tank lit by 10,000k 250 or 400W MH?
if so please post them, i am probably gonna change my lighting and would like to see what it might look like first, thanks.

p.s. if anyone in the lowermainland is running these lights, perhaps i can stop by for a little look see?

Do you ever come up to Whistler? If so I use 2x250w 10k Venture bulbs. Very well priced and color as good as ushio. If you look at my gallery there are some pics there but not specifically of the lighting.

If you tell me what you're looking for I can take pictures of it though.

I have dual 400w Ushios over my 150, unfortunately the colours shown in the photos may be off, as my camera is a POS.

dual 250MH 10000k ushio's I believe.

My camera is not here (gf has it) I live in port moody... I dunno if you care to see my tank... it doesnt have anything interesting in it yet - too young.

smokinreefer what are you running now? I'm running 2x6500K 250W with 2x110VHO 03's. I am also wondering if the switch to 10000K would be an improvement.

hey jackets,

with the combo you are running now, you still find it yellowish?

i am running 2 x 400W 6500k MH with 2 x 1605 actinic VHO.
my color at best appears a fairly crisp white, but at times has a yellowish cast.

i think i'll be going to 3 x 250W 10,000k with 2 x 165W actinic VHO.
but ofcourse, nothing is set in stone.

Before I upgraded to MH I tried 10000K PC. I really didn't like the look. But I really don't know if PC and MH would look the same.
I feel the 6500K are quite warm but I am afraid after spending a couple hundred on new bulbs I won't like 10000K.
