![]() In any hockey tournament, be it NHL playoffs or the Olympics, a teams goal tending dictates if a team will win or lose. Broduer was not playing his best game last night. What the hell was he thinking with that baseball swing?
Canada needs a hot goaltender, and hopefully Lou will rise to the occasion. And I agree with a previous comment...Pronger has no business playing on this team. We need some toughness and meanness in our corners. Robyn Regehr should have been picked. He is not an offensive threat but he plays it tough in his own end. I have to also agree the refs seemed very one sided.

there are a few others I would have rather seen on the team but I guess thats why we have fish tanks and don't run hockey teams.. people who know a lot more than us are making the desisions. over all team canada is very good, this was the hardest team they have played and the fact that miller had a preformance of his life is what stopped us.. if we played again today witht he same players we probably woudl win.. unless miller can pull two preformances in a row out of his A$$ which is unlikely. look at the stats, we killed them in shots on net, prosession time, hits, ect.. we were skating circles around them .. but Miller rose to the ocasion and played way above his normal preformance level. Now Brodure was havign a hard time but if you noticed it was the US game plan to make him play the puck on his off side.. and they did a damn good job of it. it was comented on several times during the game. Steve

![]() I never said Turco was on the team.. what I meant was no need to play the puck like Turco.. very few goaltenders can. It was a point at my frusteration at how he was trying to play the puck.
