Could be that the older demographic is less inclined to vote and/or admit to their true age on a public forum, he, he. I wouldn't be too hasty to put a lot of trust in the statistics of a poll like this. And yes, I'm getting up there.

31 here. been reefing since iwas 29. fresh water since i was 10. had a pair of red bellied piranahs that lived for 12 years. liked them so much i got the large one stuffed.

I'm in the 40+ group but started reefing in my 30+ days. I'm sure there are more of us "older" reefers out there but just more secretive or just can't figure out that #@@##!!! internet.

I'm **, but those who have met me probably think I'm in my early 20's. I started my first reef in 1993 it also had an UGF (under-gravel filter), a Skilter 250 "protein skimmer", 18w of T8 lighting, and a Condy anemone that didn't appreciate any of that.
