Drilled two holes with a 1.5" hole saw then used the angle grinder with a a 4" diamond wheel on it. Used the bottom 1/4 of the holes for the curves in the cut. Took all of 15 or 20 mins. Couldn't believe how easy it was.

How far from the edge did the holes go?
