Aug 22/09 Summer BBQ and fundraiser garage sale

Hi ya'll. Sorry it has been so long in waiting for me to find out what's going on with this event. There will be a garage sale, so if you have stuff to sell (fishy or not fishy related) please bring it along. 30% of the proceeds will go to the fish club. Would be preferred if you price your items before bringing them.

Edit: You can bring your garage sale items in the morning of the 22nd or drop them off on the 21st for convenience. Please make a list of your items and the cost of each item so we can keep track. It would also help to mark your items somehow so we know who's is who's. (Say a piece of tape, a green dot etc.)

It will be held at Jim Sayers house on Saturday August 22, 2009. 3832 50 St.

Garage sale to start at 10AM or so

BBQ-show up around 4pm

It would be great if people brought a food item as well (salads, deserts, drinks, etc.)

I have a big move coming up so will be selling off pond equipment, tank decor, real plants (including Java moss, Crypts, XL Anubias), much more.

It's coming up real soon and open to everyone! If you decide to become a member we'll also throw your name in for the nano draw--winner to be drawn sometime in one of the fall months if I can manage to get everything done in time.

Thanks everyone who came to help out, buy things and support our club. With your help we were able to raise the money with this garage sale to cover the shipping costs I initially put out on my own for the rock for the nano tank, which was a huge relief. Thanks so much!
