right alot of people dont understand the concept of "work", I'll be honest here and say neither did I until my Dad showed me how to work. everyday I alone haul 5 truckloads of bread I load and unload the truck myself each stack of bread weighs 300lbs or more and 40 fit on my truck i work at this so hard that as soon as i get home i have to lay down and take a nap. if everybody worked as hard as i think i do there would be less demand for workers. I stress this one point however my Dad is old school and taught me how to work in the old school back breaking fashion did i mention that he also served in the armed forces? I guess that im just one of the lucky ones that being said i think more discipline is needed with todays young people

Amen. I've never even taken a sick day in my life. However, I did use snow as an excuse once, to not go to work (could've bussed it), but that was eons ago when I was young lad and wanted to party instead . Well, maybe I took a sick day somewhere too, but not in the last 24 years at my current job.

My daughter went to Canadian Tire for some new winter tires. They said, we have three, but the store on Macleod Trail has one, so if you go pick that up, we'll have four to install for you.....

Ouch about the tire thing!

Yesterday, I called my credit card company about a charge, and I spent 45 minutes of my time explaining that yes I had made a charge at that store, but not for that amount. Customer service is frustrating enough, but when you also have to work against the language barrier it just wants to make me cry. I the end I almost want to pay the $60 I was over charged, just so I don't have to deal with the stress of trying to explain the situation to someone over and over and over.
