| Majano removal question? I got a couple of corals from a guy which came on a rock that also has a 3" maxima clam attached. However, it has a few majanos on it (like 40!!). What is the best way to remove these, assuming I can get the clam off the rock? I'd hate to have to toss a perfectly good clam.

| Thought about that, but I recall years ago trying to remove xenia that way, never worked Maybe scrape the shell area with an exacto blade?

| Place empty clam or oyster shells on top of the nem, they will climb on top to get to the light. Toss out the shell.
