Picked up this new in box Biocube 14, some reefer had bought it for his girl friend ! Going to try going the bare bottom route and if I don't like it ill add some sand .

I plan on adding a skimmer, refugium and upgrading to led !

Call me chicken sh!t but I waited until my wife was out of the house and set up the tank i put it on the counter next to the sink, I had a moment to my self remembering my 1st tank over 5 years ago set up in the exact spot ! A 29 gallon full of gold fish ! Any way got it up with the water I had in my cooler with the LR and voila !

I am not happy with the bare bottom look so if i get any time in the next week or so I plan to add some sand ! Suggestions ? I may stick with oolite even though I detest it in almost every way it does look awesome.

Usually my wife freaks out when i do something like this ! maybe she's just shell shocked. All she said when she got home was " I think you better move the other fish down there as well " referring to my second ocellaris clown that was still up in the other tank being pestered by the big bitchy saddle back.

I NEED a better camera, I cant find the charger for my point and shooot so I keep borrowing my kids Ipod.
