Default Newbie 10gal Tank :)

So my dad upgraded to a 30gal and left his old 10gal collecting dust in the garage. I'd use it to build my own tank but my gf wants a fish tank, so I decided to just build it with her and let her take care of it.

So far plans are:
Marina 10gal tank
HOB filter for 20gal with crushed LR and carbon
50/50 light
Live sand
Small powerhead
Heater
Live rock
Livestock TBA until the tank fully cycles

I'll post pics soon. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
JM

Err. Can any mod fix this? How come it only turned into one paragraph? I apologize if this is hard to read.

EDIT: Fixed! It was my pc that's being a b*tch.

Painted the back part black.

Tried to test with the old actinic light on (It will be replaced by a 50/50).

Found some carbon from my old FW tank, gonna use this with crushed LR.

Here's how the tank sits right now, the gf is buying stuff 1 by 1 so it is pretty slow. So far we have the live sand, Koralia powerhead, Topfin 20gal filter, Fluval carbon.
