Default my new money pit

90 gallon aga tank with corner overflow
dual 400w pfo ballast with 20 k radiums
660 vho ballast with 2 50/50 for refugium and 2 day light only for tank
es8-2 euroreef skimmer
ocean aquatics calcium reactor
33 gallon refugium
38 gallon sump
natural waves power strip and 3 maxi jet 1200s
never mind the nightmare of adding 3 gfci curcuits directly into the stand
Home made stand and canopy
100 lbs approx live rock
2.5inch sand bed in tank
4inch sand bed in refugium
1 purple tang 2 clowns and waiting to cycle tank for sps
All this equals 1 broke sucker with gold fish going over board

I know what you mean..This hobby is like a drug that is really addicticve..I find myself staring at my tank for half the day and spend all my money on the darn tank...This hobby is evil just like the LFS..all they do is drain money from me

Sounds like a heck of a nice set up, don't forget though that the Ice Cap 660 isn't a VHO ballast. (wow, sucks doesn't it)

What da ya mean it aint VHO ? What is it other than that besides expensive.

it is set up as a HO ballast but it will run VHO tubes, just not at the proper levels.

I was wondering that myself, I saw an ad that said that the 660 will run 440 watts of lights. I find it a bit confusing myself.

Just an update I now have some more fish one sailfin tang .regal tang,
that are doing very well with my purple tang.
