Default LF Plastic drums

I want to make a mixing station. Similar to what Legendboy has (see attachment). Anyone know where to get these type of drums. It looks like they have screw on lids.

Thanks, Leon

I would suggest wings foods, I would also suggest not to trust what someone said was in them. Unless you are getting from the user, picking them up from a guy that runs around and picks up barrels and then resells them you are taking way to big of risk as to what was in them. Dont always trust what someone says when they are trying to sell you a barrel.

FYI, Wings on the southside has barrels for $20/each 200L in blue or black (depending on what's available). The lady said that it was used for soy sauce or cranberry sauce. Might be a little bigger than I have room for.

Try a place that sells supplies for home brewing wine or beer.

FYI, here are prices from Calgary plastic

"We have reconditioned drums that had product in them. They have been cleaned and washed out. Not recommended for food safe.

Reconditioned 45 imperial gallon natural and blue tight head drums with two 2” bungs. The lid does not come off. $ 39.00 each

Reconditioned 45 imperial gallon blue open head drums with lid and locking ring. $ 47.00 each.

We carry 45 imperial gallon new open head drums with lid and locking ring. Good for food storage $ 94.18 each.

Did you contact from the guy in kijiji? He works for a distributor, not likes he cruises up and down alleys looking for plastic barrels.

Wings does have the barrels....but they are a bit large for the room I have. I called the guy on Kijiji about two weeks ago. I am still checking around for the different possibilities. The mixing station in Calgary is still up for sale. Good price until you add fuel to drive to Calgary to pick it up.
