ProdiBio Additive Confusion

I'm looking into dosing my tank with ProdiBio to lower nitrates and phosphates. I seem to have found a good deal here: http://www.goreef.com/Prodibio-Bio-C...-30-Vials.html
The thing is, it includes "Bio Trace", which I've never heard of and can't find info on. From what I've read you should start with Bio Digest and Bioptim to lower high nutrient levels. Does anyone know what Bio Trace is about and if I could/should sue it as well or could it compound the problem?

it explains further down that the trace and optim feed the bacteria strains to help them multiply.
