is the tank 48" plus more for the sump? or is it 48" including the sump?

The tank 48 long but I'm not selling the sump as I'm using it on another build.

Are you talking about a "Sump" or the "Overflow box"?

Are you talking about the external over flow? If so it sticks out another 6 inches so it is 54 inches with the external overflow.
