Default A Little Trick When Installing 250W MH Bulbs

Some of you may already do this but I'll share it because I just stumbled on it last night. I have always hated changing my MH bulbs because they are hard to push in an when they finally do snap into place there is a good chance the ceramic tab will break. I was reading through the AquaMedic manual and the suggestion they made for installing the bulbs was to wipe lithium grease on the bulb ends before inserting them. As luck would have it my new Phoenix bulbs arrived today so I gave it a try and I couldn't believe it! Those little suckers just about slid in by themselves! All it took was a trip to crappy tire and for $2.60 you get about enough to put in a million bulbs.

I always just space the connectors apart with a small finishing nail and then pull it out after the bulb drops in.
