Default Frontosa's???

I'm currently setting up a 180 for frontosa's. Does anyone know where the best place is to buy them in Canada? preferably western Canada (I'm in AB)
Also, if anyone has info on them...personalities?likes, dislikes?? I'd appreciate it.
thanks
Lynn

From what i've seen Golds in calgary seems to have alot, some for sales others not.

I've got one I've had her for about 2 years and is about 7.5 inches, pretty shy, calm

I had Frontosa mpimbwe, found out a male and two females don't cut it, he killed both females, these were large fish. Turns out 1 male to 5 or so females works well but I heard of a guy who has a 6foot long 135 gallon tank that he keeps two pair in, they don't mess with each other, I guess they have their territory and leave it at that. Wish that would have worked for me.

I ended up buying a colony. 11 females and 2 males (one alpha male) doesn't bother the smaller one. These are all mature fish and have been spawning for the guy for sometime.
I'm actually going to sell the lot, feel bad saying this but I'm finding them just too boring.
Sorry about yours Doug...I also know ofsomeone that has just a few and it works for them, but 99% of the time it doesn't. When you have a larger group the aggression is spread out a lot more.

Yeah Chicki, but at $100 each I couldn't justify buying half a dozen.
