Default t-5 options for 20G

hello,

i am looking to upgrade my lights from 130w PC (1 65w 10k, 1 65w atinics) to t-5s. i am wondering if the 4 x24w is strong enough for a 20G with the depth at 18 inches? also i am debating between the ATI fixtures and the sunlight supply fixtures, both are 4 x24w. which one would you guys choose?

thanks

That should be sufficient enough.

depends how much you really want to spend, what you plan on keeping in the tank. personally i would buy the sunlight supply (sounds like your looking at the tek). ati's are nice fixtures but for the price, overkill.

i figured i shouldn't cheap out on the light so price hurts, so it wouldn't affect the decision too too much.

but i thought the cooling fans on the ati were much better and they help extend the bulb life if T5 are operating cooler, never owned any T5s, so im just looking around.

The ati is definitely a better unit.....better build quality and the active cooling will produce better par and extend bulb life......that being said Im running teks and have been happy with my results......you could always meet somewhere in the middle and look at a tek "elite".....

Aaron, if you're able to get the ATI unit, go for it.
