Default to catch a mantis?

I have a mantis thats eating my hermits and my shirimp and im pretty sure a 4 gobies i dont know how long I have had him and i have not added anything new in a while now. I must have disrupted his home when i re did my aquascape this weekend. Is there anything i can find around the house to try to trap him? anyone have any tips or tricks for me?

Thanks

Lean a large glass or vase against a rock with some raw shrimp in it near his hole at lights out. Wait and watch... hope he takes the bait. Be ready to cover the top of the vase/glass with something to avoid him swimming out of the trap.

Or you could try the inverted pop bottle trap.
