Default Algae problem

I have a slight algae problem in my 29g biocube (with corals) and I was wondering what is the best way to solve it. Coppeband is out of the question - way too small of a tank. Urchin - may "rearrange" my corals (or won't it?). What other options do I have? I want the algae gone but I want my corals to remain in one piece and wherever they are at the moment...

Thanks for your advices!!

Need more info,

What type of algae is it? If you don't know you will have to post some pictures. What are the tank parameters and how old is the tank? You will need to look for the cause of the algae not just what you can put in the tank to eat it.

I would say you have 2 options, get something that eats it like a turbo snail or out compete it like dosing.

While you had mentioned that the urchin will knock down corals, the turbos do their fair share of bowling. Dosing will cut down nutrients but cost you some change $ and time.

I have alittle bit of an algae issue however it is kept at bay by manual removal and doesn't seem to spread worse, I do dose alittle when I remember.

I am feeding the tank quite heavy and it's running skimmerless so this may have abit to contribute to the problem but everything seems to be happy.

Tang Daddy, what are you using to "dose"?
