![]() Either...21"x21"x21" or 20"x20"x20"
I want to go rimless. I had planned on acrylic but now a friend of mine is trying to convince me to go glass. What would the thickness difference be? For acrylic I know it should be 1" but what about glass? What do you think the cost difference would be? For glass, at least the front would have to be low iron. Acrylic...well its all clear, so thats good. The upside to glass, is that its much easier for me to work with I guess. Or anyone know if there is a standard tank out there with similar dimensions? Can't be more than 21" though. No smaller than 18"x18". Thanks. |

![]() Funny, Ive been thinking about the exact same thing. Ever since I saw Myka's cube for sale, I'm like, Hmm, One would look cool there, or there, off, one there too....

![]() I just had one built for me. It's 24" x 24" x 18" rimless, braceless with the 3 viewing panels in Starfire glass. The thickness is 1/2". I prefer glass to acrylic because it's easier to clean and doesn't scratch as easliy.

![]() This one cost me $500 but that's bigger than you want and I had three panes with low iron glass. I'm having a very simple sump built for me now that's 21" x 21" x 16" rimless with 2 baffles that's costing me $200.

![]() The standard 24 inch cube (60 gallons) is around ~$250. Ask Anthony about glass thickness because I know hw has one.

![]() Whoops, should have notice this thread before replying on your looking acrylic thread :P
I would go glass for a small cube tank, 'trimless' / 'braceless' for sure ![]()
