![]() digikey or Eecol Electric maybe? Not sure exactly what you're looking for but Eecol would be local.

![]() What are you looking for? I have purchased electronic components from RP Electronics in Burnby and SMI in Langley. I have also bought some stuff on eBay which was fairly inexpensive even with the shipping.
One thing to note, shipping within Canada can cost more than shipping from the US. Canada Post is very expensive. I shipped alot of stuff in the past and it was often cheaper fro me to ship the same package to the US than shipping it in Canada. |

![]() Im looking for a one stop shop kind of dealer. I need things from semiconductors, fans, good selection of enclosures, components etc.
Ive looked at digikey but their website drives me nuts. I can never work out how you can buy from Asia and shipping is $6 but when you buy from the US its $20. Pity it just takes so long from Aisa.

![]() Lee's Electronics on Main St. may have everything you need. Great place for DIY components, fans, LED's, transformers, etc. Nedco is great for ballasts.

![]() Digikey charges a flat rate of $8.00 and most times received in 1-2 days. Downside is they now use UPS so you need someone home to accept delivery, or ship to your work.

![]() Ive used Lee's and they are good but don't always have exactly what i need.
Im hoping when digikeys catalogue arrives at my place that will make ordering easier as their website layout is terrible. VR

http://dkc1.digikey.com/CA/EN/PDF/C091/Section.html Using the search feature to sift through parts is cumbersome and annoying .. but when you index 100,000s of items .. that's the way it goes. ![]()

![]() newark has everything you want but its website is similar to digikey, Their catalog is even larger than digikey.
I buy from digikey mostly as they have good pricing and if you buy bulk you can get some great deals if you wheel and deal with the salesman. |
