![]() hi, got a question for a friend.? he got himself a coral beauty a week ago and it doesn't seem to be eating anything but algea from the liverock. i know most ppl would suggest seaweed, but will lettuce do the trick. i've heard mixed things about it. any suggestions would help. thanks

![]() Tell him a great veggie supplement is Sera Spirulina tablets. They stick to the glass, do not make a mess, and are a great way to show off your fish once they learn to nibble it. Not cheap, but very cool.

![]() I think it's not uncommon for coral beauties to take a week or two to start eating prepared foods, be it flake, pellet, or frozen. That's my experience anyway.

![]() I would second the stick on spirulina tabs, they gradually dissolve and smell great to the fish. Angels like small particles, so this is appealing. If you feed flake crush it fine.
