![]() Do you see any red along the lateral line or in his fins? Many years ago I had a tang that developed this when I had very high nitrate levels (possibly among other things...)

![]() I was told that any red along the mouth or lateral lines of yellow tangs is a good indication of amonia poisoning, which they are more sensitive to than other fish. Something about blood vessels or something but I can't quite remember. Have you checked your levels lately?
