![]() This might seem like a dumb question but, is it possible/advisable to take apart an external return pump to clean it like you would a PH? I've got a Blue Line and it doesn't look like it would come apart easy.

![]() yeah in fact it is recommended every 6 months or so to remove calcium deposits or the pump won't function properly.

![]() I guess I would be concerned with leaking. Do you have to replace any seals, etc?

![]() If you don't feel brave enough to take it apart a running it in a vinegar bath usually helps.
