I dose DT's every other day in my tank...I give it 2 teaspoons every second day. There are instructions on the bottle for the amount per gallon...I think it is 1 teaspoon per 50 gallons but now 100% sure on that!

Hi Kris,

I dose with vividreef live phytoplankton, 10mL (2 capfuls) twice a week (for a 75G. display). To get the most out of your dosing turn off your skimmer (filter) for several hours and let the phyto circulate. In my case I just close the valve on my returnline (diverts water flow back to the sump) and let the display circulate. The instructions on my bottle says to dose till the water turns greenish but I experimented once and that would take WAY too much. For me it was just trial and error.
