Lighting Question

I have a 90 gallon that is soon to be salt. How high will i have to mount the lights from the water and how far apart will they have to be mounted?
they are going to be 2 250w MH.
Also, what is the best way to house them??? my canopy is high already but i need it higher.

there it is, any suggestions??

You can have them around 4-8 " away depending on the watts ,but since you have staed that they are 250 i would go around 6 " from the water make sure tyou have some fans to keep the inside of the canopy cool so the bulbs do run to hot and start to heat your water

you should have one suckng in and one sucking out then you will have to worry about humidity in your house and the evaporation .

ya, i already have the fans, one on one side blowing in and one on the other side pushing it out. any other sugestions on how to make my cannopy higher or MH in general?!
