halide mogul and wiring

so I've got a 4x8 piece of pressed oak and i'm making a canopy. I picked up some mogul sockets today just wondering if anyone has any ideas for me to route the wires so it's not an eyesore. A router would be super cool and just route a path for the wire, but does anyone have any closeup pics of their wiring, or willing to take some for me? just looking for a way to bring the wires outta the canopy without too much exposure
