Jebao WP10 or Koralia (240gph) on nano?

Looking for some advice.
I have a basic rectangular nano tank that I just built and all in one chamber on. Dimensions for the water in the display are 14.5" x 11.25" x 11". Total water volume in display section is only 7.7 gallons.

The overflow is a long oval slot that measures 5"x 3/8"

I don't think the overflow will handle a wave very well, the water level is only 1/2" for the top and its rimless, so if I go the Jebao route it would only be used on a steady mode.

I want a powerhead that's small, no wave, and provides enough flow so that detrius doesn't settle on the bottom... It's a bare bottom BTW.

Anybody have experience with both that could shed some light on advantages or disadvantages?

The wp10 is smaller than a 240. Its wave won't go over the top. U will enjoy the wp10 more as u can adjust the wave, or have a solid current. 240 is just a eater pusher....boring.....

the wp10 is small in size but not the flow it can create.....

I have a 50-55g main tank and I am planning for 2x wp10 to create my flow.... wp25 has a lot of flow potential...

i have 2 of the wp10s in one of my frag tanks that is 29 gal and it is about right. Can't see them being enough for a 50+ gal unless it is a softy tank. Just my opinion.

Already a Jebao fan and have owned 2 WP25's.

On the lowest setting the WP10 won't be too much flow for a 7.7? I don't wanna be chasing frags around the bottom

And it's smaller the the koralia? If so, sweet

i have a bunch running and if you not ina hurry i can set up a test and let you know how it is in there. if it is a sps tank i would almost say for sure it will be fine but if lps or softy i would go with the lesser flow of the korillia.

I have the WP25 and love it. Great pump, super quiet and a ton of features. I have the Koralia 240, and it suffers from stoppage issues a lot, especially when restarting. Also, the pivot arm on the Koralia are pretty fragile. Go with the Jebao!

I also have a WP25 in my 18" X 18" X 18" cube. On it's lowest setting, I have no doubt you can set it up to not create a wave. I have mine 2/3 of the way down pointing up and on it's middle setting it gets about 1/2"-3/4" wave going. But even then you can slow the pulse so it just breaks the surface and doesn't actually create a wave.
I'd recommend going with a WP25.

I was VERY skeptical of the jebao pumps initially, but after using a couple of WP 40's for several months I'd never buy another brand of powerhead, except maybe some maxijets for utility purposes I've owned many Koralia's, Tunze's and Eco Techs.

For price / performance they can't be beat. Even just for performance it's tricky then you factor in price its a no brainer imo.
