![]() I am needing a light for a refugium for my sump. The space isn't that large. What are people using for their light and bulb, and where do you get them from?

![]() Some people use a clip on desk lamp with a HD compact fluorescent daylight type bulb, about 6700 deg. Kelvin. One of those curly cue ones.
Home Depot sells them amongst many other stores. |

![]() Are any of the Home Depot clip on lamps water resistant, or will parts rust?

![]() I use a clip on Home Depot light but I found the cfl bulbs were burning out weekly. So I got a clip on fan from Canadian tire and faced it at the fixture. After 10 hours running the light is only warm to the touch and the bulb doesn't burn out. I haven't had any rust issues, the reflector I believe is aluminium so it's getting salt splashes but holding up well. I'm getting great growth in my fuge with an energy saver bulb, I believe it's 3700k.

![]() I only see expensive clip on lights at homedepot.ca. Is this similar to what people have bought there?
