![]() Thanks.
I've had the orange, green and purple caps for about 4-5 years now, and the tan cap for about 2. they all get trimmed every 6 months so that they don't over grow the tank.

![]() Time to post my first pic, I'm proud of this tank, but it still has a long way to go to match some of yours. It's been up for around a year now.100B1470.jpg

![]() On the first of July my reef was finally at the stage where I thought that I would take some pictures and try to post them. So I did. I took some SPS frags into the LFS and people were arguing over who got them. This prompted me into thinking that maybe I was ready to post on Canreef. For the week of the 6th I was on hollidays on the island and worried the whole time. I came back 1 day early and everything was OK. What a relief! I went to bed that night and slept well for the first time in days. When I got up the next morning the first thing I did was check on the tank to discover a seal failure had dumped 45 gallons of water onto my wife's carpet and exposed most of my acros to the air for who knows how long. Panic! Everything that would fit went into the sump while I raced to Hidden Reef to pick up a temp tank. Thanks Mike! Two weeks later most of the acros still alive are showing a little colour again but man! It took everything I had not to quit. The 220 I bought at Christmas helped. When I got to work Monday And turned on my computer the first thing I saw was the shots of my tank. I quickly deleted them. Now I wish I hadn't
Sorry about the rant. Man I feel better! |
