The biggest selling I have to do is selling the idea to my wife.

That thing looks to be MANY tropical vacations on hot rubber.

Wonder what the reserve is?!

Unnnhhh! I can just hear it now:

"You love that car more than me; it was bad enough playing second fiddle to your fish tanks, now this!"

"You just want to cruise chicks with your hot car, pretending to be young again!"

"You'll probably wrap that thing around a telephone pole and kill yourself!"

J/K: She's usually pretty good about my crazy ideas, but this might be pushing it a little. On the other hand, she's got a new Nissan Murano while I drive around in the frumpy company van.

Aren't Shelby's about a billion dollars for a real one?? Nice though.

I had a stock '67 for a few years. My favourite year, although '68 is a close second but '67 was the nicest looking year. Wish I had had the 289 but I had a straight-6 200. There is a sum total of ZERO aftermarket parts for that engine, at least in the 80's and 90's there was nothing. Roared like a lion but was a total stylish wimp otherwise. Biggest mistake I ever made was selling that thing. Mostly I did it so my parents couldn't nag me about it and the funny thing is that I failed to take into account that they'd just find something else to nag about. Times were tough and I ended up practically GIVING it away for approximately 10% of the going rate for them nowadays. Thanks a LOT, Mom and Dad.

Er, did I just say that out loud? Sorry, um ... what I meant to say was .. uh .. nice tank and stuff.

I think I read in the description it was appraised at 160K US. as cool as the classics are you can buy a 2011 GT500 for around 60K and have just as much fun with it.
Just buy one Lance I'm sure if you talk to the accountant they will find creative ways to write off your new "fast response delivery vehicle", hell buy 2 and I'll do deliveries for free!

I can't afford a Shelby Tony. But I'd love to get my hands on a stock '67 Fastback. Red! I think the stock red colour that year was Candy Apple Red. They came stock with a 390 cu.inch, 320 HP. 0-60 in 7.4 seconds, painted side scoops. My idea of a "Muscle Car"!
