![]() Whoa, those look really tiny! On the bright side, they look really easy to expand. Just cut a tab out (in between two slits) effectively making larger teeth.
Is the tank under warranty? You could have concepts correct it if it is. |

Maybe another alternative is to cut out the entire weir section (all the teeth) and epoxy a whole new grate/weir grills over the weir area? Or use egg grate inside the weir. |

![]() Super Dave to the rescue..... Lol this is why so many like concept.. It should be easy to replace Trevor just sucks that you will have to drain the tank but if carefully you shouldn't have to move your rockscape

absolutely , we had several tanks that we did this too , like dave said the idea was to make it a cleaner look but for some of the large tanks it couldnt handle it. right now we go with a machined 1/4" notches for all tanks. i have spoken with trevor on the phone and we are in the works of getting this resolved quickly for him. in the mean time trevor just break off the current teeth you have this will allow you to finish up with your plumbing, i will have new acrylic out to you immediately ![]() cheers buddy denny concept aquatics |

![]() UPDATE #1 While I was waiting for the new overflow teeth I got started on my panels for my stand. Nothing major so far just 2 coats of primer/sealer. I am still undecided on if i am going to go with White, Grey, or Black for the final colour. Cue the shotty cell phone pics..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() UPDATE #2 I also just this evening installed the new acrylic overflow teeth. I'm not entirely happy with it and once dried I will be touching up what I can. So yet again, cue the cell phone pics.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Let me know what you guys think of the stand and my fix on the overflow. |
