Gads, you folks down there must be wearing hip waders by now

We've had continuous rain since early this morning. Still pouring out there. Bet there are a few underpasses that are lakes by now. Gonna stay in and watch old movies.

Hope you and your loved ones are all safe

There was a guy in the SW who had chestwaders on.. his newly deveopled basement had about 3 feet or so of water.. the water came upto the pocks on his pool table

Fish Creek is looking like Fish river.. It has gone over its banks the bannister road is closed (near the greenhouse that is there) water is in its parking lot.

I have never seen this much water in calgary and I have been here for 38 years

See what happens when people complain there is not enough rain.. it came in buckets and buckets

I just made the trek from Erlton to Tuxedo and back. I cannot believe how many roadblocks there are surrounding me. Pretty much any bridge along the way is either impassable or clogged with rubberneckers from other parts of the city. I'm glad I live at the top of a hill now and my new home is on the upper slopes of the other river, but having those waterways between the two is not making for easy moving.
