Plus shipping from them direct is not cheap. I was looking into a RK Elite before I got my Profilux & the elite shipped to me was almost $700 without duties / customs fees.

From Digital Aquatics direct? I bought a RKE package over Christmas on sale and shipping was only $30.50 via USPS and there was no brokerage or other charges associated with it direct from DA. This didn't include a third power bar though, just the two that comes with the package. I got lucky and didn't have to pay the GST either but that is hit and miss.

You got very lucky, I even called them to see if there web site was hincky or something & at that time they would only ship by UPS.

Unfortunately a lot of US companies only use UPS and I find that increases total cost by about 40% to Canadians. I refuse to deal with any of them if USPS is not an option.

Still not a bad deal on this unit, getting a third power bar for free, no risk of having to pay the GST and you get to see in person what you are getting before forking over the cash.
