Even though I don't think I have anything (famous last words, touch wood), I dip when I transfer corals between tanks. Always take the opportunity to see what comes off you never know.
I also use fresh cuts only, no bases. (have vermetid snails in one tank that I do not want in the other). |

According to what I know, the major issue with Bayer Advanced insect killer is that it is not sold in Canada. Its main component is imidacloprid. Imidacloprid has reportedly been outlawed in Canada.destroys bees.
I can say with certainty that neither Bayer Advanced nor any other product may be used in your reef tank to control AEFW. It is forbidden to use a pesticide for a purpose for which it has not been registered. |

Most people get it and bring it over the boarder. It works well and the amount a reefer uses will have no ecological threat. We have been using it in reef keeping for decades now (since it was sold on the shelf here). It is often essential for the advanced acropora keeping and culture.
