Vitalis - The Whole Fish
NEW Vitalis range (formally New Era Aquaculture) Now shipping across Canada! New additions include micro pellets for the finicky feeders or small mouthed fish Complete range of Coral and Anemone foods plus the addition of fresh water shrimp. WHY Vitalis? Vitalis from World Feeds is the only unique food that not only uses the whole wet fish and animal in production instead of off the floor off cuts, but also is cold compressed and not baked providing a unique soft pellet or flake that is pretty much raw fish meal, just open a tub and smell! Further fortifying ingredients are added to boost the food further providing the most healthy and staple diet possible. This is why numerous research centers and public aquariums switch from feeding ground up wet fish over to Vitalis as it is cleaner, less expensive and much healthier for the live stock. Trusted by Ripleys of Toronto public aquarium and Dubai Mall complex plus multiple others. What more reasons do you need to choose Vitalis? Contact sales@aqua-digital.com for your nearest supplier or if you are an LFS wanting to carry the worlds best food trusted by nearly every public aquarium in the world! |

Is there any benefit in feeding the Flake VS. Pellet? I'm looking for a new food for my multiple fish in the reef tank.

If you have fish that will only eat from the water column then the addition of flake is important it is also ideal for when transitioning from frozen to non frozen as it give the fish something to chase.
Due to the manufacturing process (lightly steamed and rolled and not baked) the sheets are big and soft so when the required amount is put in the tank the flake does not break up and become near soluble, another visual clue of the quality. Biggest advise when switching foods and specifically vitalis due to it being very strong in flavour, always stop feeding all other brand foods, fish are creatures of habit they don't understand what is good only what is standard, so they will continue to go for the lesser option only if given the chance. With no other option they learn fast vitalis is the new food source and start to get the improved health quality faster. Sent from my mobile desk! |

How long do the marine grazers last? Has anyone used them in a tank with predatory fish that like to steal large food items and swim away with them? Worried my wrasses will rip it off the suction cup and hog it to themselves.

They are very dense and bulky unless we are dealing with something like an eel you will be fine. The grazers last 24 hours before breaking down, by then by a long shot they have been devoured

Grazer feeding video. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oh0FpatU99M If feeding fresh water use either tropical grazers or cichlids grazer this way the species get the correct nutrients. Later in March the holiday grazer launches, good for a week. |
