Christy I am amazed that the tank has not shattered. I personally would speculate that if it hasn't blown out yet, it will be fine if it survives the thaw. Silicone has more elasticity to it than glass.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised as well, although my roomie just mentioned that its really icy near the tank and not anywhere else. After the snow clears I have a feeling that tank will have some sort of leak apparent.

I cant bare to look at an empty abandoned tank sittingout with the trash,reminds me of the Ikea commercial with the lamp sitting in the rain

While recycling some cans tonight, I noticed that I too have several tanks sitting out in the snow. A 5, 10, 20, and a 75g, buried in white stuff...

No doubt, I was looking for a bigger tank for my turtle (found one though, she should be happy in a 4x2' space).
