Leds are a little different then other types of lighting. Quantity and spacing define coverage while optics, height and current will more so define strength of the light... So to speak.

If I can snag one from JL, I'm just gonna throw one on top of my ap12 and see how it goes with just one light.

I'm hoping it will be comparable to the 70W HQI thats on there...

I'm sure this will be easy to sell if it's not quite what I'm looking for.

saw one of these fixtures today. Looks pretty nice, as expected from vertex. They are a step in the right direction. I was debating something along the lines of one of these for a biocube 29 with zoas but i think i still might need 2. which is kind of a downer.
