oh, thanks, that thought had crossed my mind but I thought there was no way I could be right about that! The skimmer is about the same as the last post, by the way. I've come to the conclusion that I hate skimmers - or maybe I hate myself! Every skimmer I've ever owned I spend all my time wondering if another one would be better and then when I get it I'm always excited at first and disappointed before long. And then shortly after that, I'm looking for a new skimmer again! Aaaarrrgghhh! Yeah, the problem is definitely me, I'm the same way with cars, stereo equipment, and computers.

Just thought I'd post an update on the skimmer... I solved most of my complaints with it by running it at 1" more depth than before. I guess it's sensitive to water level. Now it skims consistently and well, though not as well as I remember my previous Deltec skimming. (then again, what does?) Overall, though, it's a solid skimmer. I just didn't want anyone to read my last entry and think that my conclusion was that it sucks or is a POS.
