![]() My bet is on the snail. Some snails make pretty unique egg cases. I have seen interesting egg collars off the coast of Galiano Island made by the Moon snail, they look somewhat similar.

![]() Typed in every word in google i could think to describe what that looked like to me with no hits. Cause I 've seen them before, I just can't remember what they were. Finally the guy above mentioned egg collar or sand collar and i got hits which looked pretty similar to what you have.

![]() These are snail eggs. If you search on google, "MOON SNAIL EGGS" (pacific west coast species of snail illustrates it very well) they are very interesting. I am not sure the species of sand sifting snails you have.
