Alkalinity in IO salt
Just tested alkalinity in a freashly prepared batch of Instant Oceansalt using RO/DI water, at 1.026 SG. Using a Salifert kit I am getting 14.5 dkh. I don't think it is extemely high but thought I'd check what other's get.

I should have mentioned that the Calcium is at 370 ppm, Mg 1230 ppm

Nice to see its so consistent  What test kits are you using argileh? I was told that IO salt is deficient in magnesium and currently I'm having difficulty in my tank getting my levels up.
