this morning during feeding a piece of formula one food dropped to the edge of one of my ricordia mushrooms. i was floored how quickly the edge of the mushroom manipulated the food to the center of the mouth, but the nassarius snails also sensed the food being around and went for it. if you look closely at the mouth of the ricordia it is extended way to the left of the picture to hold on to the food while the snails were eating like crazy. it was also really cool because it is the first time we seen the nassarius eat through their snouts ( i know i'm going to get attacked because this is not the proper name but you guys get what i'm talking about)
