I have herd the best is a niger tigger as well. I have been wanting one of those forever.

I've had absolutely no problems with my Bluethroat.

Niger's can reach the size of a football, so they aren't too ideal for most people. There are a couple fairly large Niger's one of the tanks at West Ed. Mall right now, nice fish to watch cruise around...
